Atop the cliffs of Pointe-au-Pic , the Casino de Charlevoix Resort overlooks the majestic St Lawrence River and the Laurentian mountains. Situated next to the historic Manoir Richelieu, the 70,000 square foot complex is four kilometers from the centre of La Malbaie, part of the scenic Charlevoix region. The closest airport is Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport approximately a two hour drive (150 kilometers) to the west. There is a train service from Quebec to La Malbaie as well as a ferry service from a number of municipalities in the Charlevoix region. The casino operates free parking when available.

The Casino de Charlevoix has a number of packages with several hotels in the vicinity which include vouchers/discounts which can be used at the casino and the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu golf course, as well as other benefits. The Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu, with over 400 rooms and suites, is located on the same grounds as the casino and patrons can go through an underground passageway to the hotel. Others outside the resort include Auberge des Falaises, Hotel Econolodge and the less expensive Motel Le Point de Vue.

The Casino de Charlevoix houses more than 900 slot machines and 20 gaming tables including Grand Prix, Caribbean and Pai Gow Poker, Blackjack, Roulette and Mini Baccarat, along with a Keno Lounge. Depending on the slot machines, bets can range from one cent to $100. There are seven traditional poker tables and Texas Hold’em poker with croupiers available with and without limits, bets starting at $1 or $2.
