The 12,000 square foot Casino Moose Jaw celebrates Moose Jaw’s colorful history with an art-deco look inspired by The Roaring Twenties with 20 indoor and outdoor wall murals each chronicling a moment in Moose Jaw ‘s heritage. The casino is in downtown Moose Jaw – a city in south central Saskatchewan on the Moose Jaw River. By car it can be accessed via the Trans Canada Highway (Highway 1) and is 45 minutes west of Regina, which has the nearest major airport. Greyhound Canada and Grey Goose provide services to get to and from Moose Jaw. There is a charge for parking at the casino but Players Club members can earn free parking with slot points or if they play any table game.
Although it is not part of the casino, Temple Gardens Mineral Spa Resort is connected to Casino Moose Jaw. Temple Gardens offer various packages including two which feature $15 and $40 casino vouchers. There are a number of other hotels in the area include the Travelodge, Days Inn and Capone’s Hideaway Motel.
There are over 200 slot machines at the casino as well as seven table games including Blackjack, Double Zero Roulette and Three Card Poker. Casino Moose Jaw also hosts several Texas Hold’em poker games each week. You will need to register with the Supervisor at the table games pit just prior to the game to get in on the action and be present when your name is called from the list. Poker Hours are Wednesday and Thursday at 6.00pm and Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 5.00pm. It also features live entertainment at its theatre.
