Built on a cliff overlooking the world-famous Horseshoe Falls, Fallsview Casino Resort is the largest gaming resort facility in Canada featuring 200,000 square feet of gambling space. The resort also offers a luxury hotel, full service spa and fitness centre, dozens of shops and restaurants and the Avalon Theatre – a state-of-the-art venue. Niagara Falls is serviced by a number of airports – the nearest, Niagara District airport being just a 20 minute drive away. Or fly to either Buffalo New York (41 kilometres) or Toronto Canada (125 kilometres). Hotels do not provide shuttle services to the Falls from either airport but both airports offer shuttle services to and from Niagara Falls and stop at most major hotels. The rail and bus stations are about four kilometres north of the casino. By car, follow the Queen Elizabeth Way – Highway 420, Exit 30. There are 2,500 car spaces at the casino – in order to park for free, sign up for the Players Advantage Club and use your card while playing slots or table games.
The resort’s hotel is perched high above the thundering waters of Niagara Falls and boasts 374 luxury rooms and suites with views of either the Falls, city or both. There are also hotels nearby that offer special casino packages which include casino vouchers and dining vouchers (details on individual hotels’ websites) – the nearest is the Hilton Niagara Falls which is connected to Fallsview Casino Resort by a heated and air conditioned indoor glass walkway.
The casino features over 3,000 slots and video poker machines in denominations ranging from 1¢ to $100. With over 100 table games, it has something for everyone. Fallsview’s Poker Room — the largest in Ontario – has high and low limits and hosts Texas Hold’em and other games and there is also an exclusive high-limit gaming area. With over a dozen restaurants to whet your appetite, Fallsview Casino Resort has dining options to satisfy every taste. Huge international stars can be seen at their 1,500 sear theatre.
