Lake City Casino has over 14,000 square foot of gaming space with a fully licensed gaming floor. The casino is located in Kamloops, a city in south central British Columbia, located at the confluence of the two branches of the Thompson River near Kamloops Lake. Four major highways come together in the city, providing convenient access from major centres such as Vancouver and Calgary. The casino is approximately 4 hours drive Northeast of Vancouver but the nearest airport is Kamloops which is about a 20 minute drive east to the casino.

The casino can be found in the heart of downtown Kamloops between 5th and 6th Avenues and has free parking for Gold Encore members only. However, its onsite hotel – Hotel 540 – provides ample parking for hotel guests in the car park or behind the building. If you are arriving by car, drive to downtown Kamloops, take City Centre exit and follow to downtown core. There is metered parking on the street 9am – 6pm Monday to Saturday. The hotel has 150 rooms and has recently benefited from a $12m modernisation. It has a rooftop pool and hot tub as well as a free 24 hour fitness room. It offers $10 in Slot Play when you stay there but you must be a Gold Encore member. Other hotels in the area include the Plaza, Thompson Hotel and Conference Centre and the cheaper Travelodge.

Lake City Casino’s gaming space features over 300 gaming machines with hundreds of multi-denominational slot machines and video poker as well as eight table games including Caribbean Stud Poker, Texas Hold’em, Four Card Poker and more.
