The Kelowna Casino is British Columbia’s largest gaming venue outside of Greater Vancouver/Victoria. The 21,000 square foot casino is fully licensed and features a Caribbean cruise ship theme complete with dramatic murals, rockscapes and a waterfall entrance. There are a number of hotels in the vicinity including two which have Stay and Play packages. Adjacent to the casino, is the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort and Conference Centre. Its offer includes a $10 slot play coupon for each adult per stay. The hotel has 390 rooms, villas and suites and there is a charge for parking ($16 a day for self parking). A short walk along the waterfront takes you to the Prestige Inn which also has a similar $10 credit per person offer. Other hotels nearby are the Recreation Inn and Suites, Kelowna Apple Tree Bed and Breakfast and the Dilworth Inn. There are two major parking areas in downtown Kelowna – Pandosy Street or at the Library by the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) Station.
The casino has recently undergone an expansion and features over 500 multi-denominational slot machines, table games and a live poker room. Payouts of up to $55,000 can be won on the slots.
